Midnight Ice Console

The Midnight Ice Console is a one-of-a-kind sculptural piece created from distinctive fir burl wood, combining the expressive natural character of the timber with semi-transparent black epoxy using AEC WOOD ART’s signature “Ice Texture” technique.

The irregular grain, natural movement and rich tonal variation of the fir burl form the visual foundation of the piece. The crystalline black epoxy is designed to sit in contrast with the timber while still allowing depth and subtle translucency to remain visible, creating a darker and more architectural interpretation of the Ice Texture finish.

A high-gloss surface enhances the natural figuring of the wood and the reflective depth of the epoxy, while the 45-degree bevel along the front edge gives the console a lighter, more refined profile and emphasises the precision of its construction.

The piece is supported by the sculptural SLIM base, finished in a refined BRUSHED CHAMPAGNE GOLD tone. Its restrained geometry allows the tabletop to remain the focal point while introducing a clean architectural element beneath the composition.

With dimensions of 150 × 40 cm and a height of 90 cm, the Midnight Ice Console is designed to create presence without visual heaviness.
